Leave No Trace is the critically-acclaimed drama film that's co-written and directed by Debra Granik, who previously directed the 2010 mystery drama film, The Winter's Bone, and stars Ben Foster and Thomasin McKenzie as the main protagonists. Usually, I would write a full review on the film, but today's gonna be different as I've made my official first impressions video debut for the site! I want to thank my fellow film-loving buddy Luis for joining me in seeing the film as well as being a co-reviewer with me for the video! Oh and pardon for the awkward opening of the video as there was a small and unexpected technical problem and had no choice but to record the video in regular mode instead of sideways.

Overall, Leave No Trace delivered masterfully well, with its well-thought execution of its small, but emotional premise, grounded sense of realism, beautiful cinematography, natural atmosphere, Granik's direction, Ben Foster and Thomasin McKenzie's award-worthy performances, and the rest of the cast. This is one film about the strong bond of father and daughter that I highly recommend!
