Welcome back Month of October where I continue reviewing films full of scary thrills and the subject of the day is the sci-fi horror film Hollow Man, which was released in 2000 from Dutch director Paul Verhoeven (best known for previous works including Robocop, Total Recall, Fatal Attraction and the cult classics Starship Troopers and Showgirls) and stars Kevin Bacon, Elizabeth Shue, Josh Brolin, Kim Dickens, Greg Grunberg, Joey Slotnick, Mary Randle and William Devane. I can recall seeing this particular film back in my early teen years and what left an impression on me are three things: the concept, Kevin Bacon's performance and the impressive special effects. But watching it now for the Month of October, does this film hold up after eighteen years? To answer that, the video will answer that question. If I look tired, its because I had a pretty long day at the time of the recording of the video. But anyway, enjoy!
And that concludes another Month of October review and tune in in a few days as I will be looking way back into the late 1960's where I witness the rise of a horror sub-genre that would go on to inspire generations of horror film directors...
