A.X.L. - A RMNT Review

A.X.L is an adventure film from Oliver Daly in his screenwriting and directorial debut and stars Alex Neustaedter, Becky G, Alex MacNicoll, Dominic Rains and Thomas Jane. I knew from the moment I saw the trailer it was gonna be potentially bad, but I didn't expect it to be this bad and fully regret spending money to go see it! And this cost $10 million to make?! What a waste!

I made my solo review video to explain my thoughts on the film, but unfortunately, I was feeling very unenthusiastic and somewhat tired out after seeing it, so pardon the lack of positivity.

Like with Hotel Transylvania 3, this one left me very bored and disappointed for its generic plot and structure, one-dimensional characters portrayed in average acting, moments that were too dumb to believe, despite the nice mixture of practical and CG effects for the robot dog and motorcycle stunt work. As much as I admire independent filmmaking, this is one indie film that was a waste of effort and money!
